Présentation
Arthur Cox, producteur qui a sa propre société en Angleterre, porte Jasia, un projet de 80 minutes en stop motion pour toute la famille. L’histoire est tirée de faits réels vécus par la réalisatrice Madgalena Osinka.
Le budget annoncé est de cinq millions d’euros.
L’histoire
“Jasia” is a story of survival, a dark fairytale for a family audience. A little girl, in a war-torn country who loses everything and tries to find herself a loving home. In this stop-motion film Jasia shares her childhood stories with her future granddaughter. Its Poland 1939. Jasia is very little, and has very little. She is seven years old, under height and under weight. None of this matters, for she has one hell of a mother. Romantic, incurable Veronica an artiste, a trumpet player with the Circus. But one night distant thunder silences the music, Boom Boom: the war begins and Jasia is on her own with only her imagination to help her survive.
Planning
Peu d’informations à ce sujet, hormis le planning de ce concept original qui devrait durer dans son développement 12 mois et dans sa réalisation 18 mois. La sortie n’est donc pas prévue avant 2018 voire 2019.
